In line with the digitization of more and more industries and parts of society, IT security becomes an increasingly important area. To meet the needs and open up for new opportunities, Blue Science Park now starts collaborating with other clusters and companies around the Baltic Sea.
In conjunction with the Blue Science Park event Innovation Day at Blekinge University of Technology, BTH, May 3-4, the collaboration, called the North European Cybersecurity Center, NECC, was presented.
– IT security becomes both more important and more complex. With the new cooperation, our regional companies and BTH will have access to a broad network of contacts, skills and business opportunities, says Mårten Holmberg, IT security developer at Blue Science Park.
The cooperation currently includes members from Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, Norway, Germany and Iceland.
– As a first concrete result, we have made a joint project application within the EU’s major investment in IT security, says Magnus Forsbrand, CEO of Blue Science Park.
