Blue Science Park ensures that all personal data you provide to us only will be used in the systems within Blue Science Park and will be handled in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). The data will be used only to fulfil our commitments to you in order to give you the best possible service.

Blue Science Park is a meeting place for research and the needs within the business and public areas with the purpose to develop cutting-edge expertise and catch new ideas within the focus areas Marine technology, Digital, eHealth and Urban development. Through co-operation and applied research the companies’ competitiveness will increase.
The personal data we handle consist mainly of data that you share with us when contacting us through registering for events or other activities, applying for memberships etc.
We handle the following data:

— §1.1b Workplace, role and sometimes profile in connection to project applications.
— §1.2 Invoice data and reference person if applicable.

§4. Our obligations
Your customer information, like contact information such as contact data and member data, will not be used in any other way than to give you access to information and services from Blue Science Park or third parties approved by Blue Science Park. We are always obligated, within 7 days, to provide information a natural person or a company request. This also applies to the erasure of data.
We are also obligated to correct and update data if requested. This shall also be done within 7 days. If you think that we are not fulfilling our obligations, you may contact the supervisory authority if we are not in agreement.
If you feel unsure about how we received data about you, we are obligated to clearly inform you on this matter upon request.

Employees at Blue Science Park have the right to use the data, stated in §1 required to be able to carry through our tasks. The employees have received an internal education, which is described in §7.

The employees handling personal data are regularly trained internally in how to handle data, to minimise risk of human errors. The employees are trained to handle the personal data cautiously over time and to have the knowledge to update and erase the customer data in our systems.

Registration forms sent via the web are stored in a digital format and sent via encrypted connection. We store this data to maintain our service at the highest level.
§9. Photo and filming
As a visitor at events arranged by Blue Science Park, you may be photographed and filmed. The material may be used for publication and dissemination through Blue Science Park. For example at Blue Science Park’s website and social media, in advertisements, in newsletters, in brochures and other printed material and as press images. If you want us to remove pictures of you that are visible in our material, e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
