New investment on eHealth – eHealth Innovation

Blue Science Park has been granted the eHealth Innovation project. The objective of the project is to create growth in companies in the field of eHealth by increasing the innovation capacity of public actors in seven pilot projects.

Blue Science Park has been working with eHealth since 2013, through the SICAHT project, combining the region’s experience of Telecom/IT with needs in healthcare. – We have been working with eHealth for several years. Our experience is that the most important thing we can do to create growth in this area is to support public actors in their innovation efforts, says Stefan Malmström, Business Developer eHealth at Blue Science Park.

The objective of the project is to create growth in companies in the field of eHealth by increasing the innovation capacity of public actors in seven pilot projects. The eHealth Innovation project is co-financed by ERDF, Region Blekinge, Landstinget Blekinge, Blekinge municipalities and Region Skåne. The project’s turnover is almost SEK 14 million during the project period 2018-05-01 to 2021-08-31.

Together with public actors and the business world we will implement development processes for innovation in the eHealth area, thereby helping them increase their development and innovation capabilities, says Charlott Clementz, Expert on needs eHealth at Blue Science Park.
